Simple Joys

Today's joy is Grandma's Piano. It sat in storage for a very long time and we finally gave it a home. I polished it up and I treasure it. The kids are always gentle with it, which is why I allow them to play, even if they have not taking piano lessons. Nolan plays some pretty tunes on it and it makes me happy. I hope Grandma knows just how much I love her piano.

SNEAKERS! I own lots of sneakers. I have some for running, some for walking, some for shaping up, some just cuz I liked the colors. SNEAKERS ROCK!! I wear sneakers just about every day. If I could have worn them to my wedding, and not given my mother a coronary, I would have! Sneakers are the BEST!

One of my favorite things to do is read. For my 39th birthday my wonderful hubby bought me a Kindle. For those of you who have not discovered the joys of a Kindle, it is a electronic book from Amazon. I use it every day! It is my ultimate favorite electronic toy, and I have MANY! I can't imagine my life without it.

Do Potato Heads make you smile? They sure do for me! I started collecting the silly things when Darth Tater came out years ago. I have expanded my collection to include the following:
Darth Tater, Spud Trooper, Luke Frywalker, Yam Solo, Chipbacka, Artoo Patatoo, C3Patatoo, Spuda Fett, Mashter Yoda, Tony Starch, Spud Lightyear, Optimash Prime, Bumble Spud and Taters of the Lost Ark. The names are reason alone to collect them.

One of my greatest joys is Peaches. She makes me smile. In this photo she is guarding her tennis ball from the other dog. She fell asleep with it in her mouth. Chelsea laid on the couch across from Peaches and WAITED until the ball fell out of Peaches' mouth. Dogs rock
